Rodney Allen Hagins passed away on September 28, 2021.
Rodney is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of over 50 years, Dorothy A. Hagins, and their two children Pamela Fuller, her husband Preston and daughter Marisa, and Brian Hagins and his wife, Jessica and their sons Lucas and Evan.
Rodney worked for Glidden/SMC/Millennium Inorganic Chemical/Cristal Global for 50 years before his retirement. He also served our country in The United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He enjoyed tinkering in the yard and around the house. No project was too big, and he often started many projects. On occasions, he even finished a few.
He was a devoted husband and father. He often struck fear in the hearts of the timid but would do anything for his family. He taught his children to stand up for themselves and work hard for the things they wanted. He could be stubborn and difficult and could argue about anything. He also had a very dry sense of humor that crept into everything he did. His actions often spoke louder than his words. He wasn't one to express his love with words, but did it every day with his actions, whether it was helping his children with school projects, driving 2 hours to fix their broken-down car, or breaking a land speed record to get back to his wife's side after her neck surgery.
He will be dearly missed by all.
