Roland Jester, Jr.

Roland Frederick (Bud) Jester Jr, age 74, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.  Bud was born on February 14, 1944 on his mother's birthday.  Bud would say that he was the best birthday present she ever received.  Bud grew up in Baltimore and Violetville while spending his summers at his families' home in Venice on the Bay.
Bud enlisted in the Army, serving in Germany and Vietnam.  He retired from AMTOTE International after working there for over 25 years.  An avid hunter and fisherman, Bud enjoyed the outdoors.  In 1972, Bud married Deborah Titus.  They raised two wonderful daughters, Sarah DelSignore (Drew) and Elizabeth Parker (Brian).
Bud is survived by his wife, daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren: Erica, Clara, Ella, Cecilia, and (finally a boy) Andrew.  He is also survived by a sister, Charlotte Florey, and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding Bud in death are his parents, Roland and Jean Jester, sister Margaret Fonte, and brother Curtis Jester.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Friday May 11, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 1 PM at Pasadena United Methodist Church 61 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Private Cremation to follow.
