Ronald Caswell

RONALD R CASWELL SR   AGE 83  PASADENA, MD

Ron was born on March 18, 1934, in Shelbyville, KY, and was the youngest of five children born to Cecil and Sarah Caswell.

Ron departed this earth on November 13, 2017 after a heroic battle against bone cancer.  He is survived by his wife of 59 beautiful years, Carol Ann Caswell nee Schnebelen, his five children ( Ron Caswell Jr, Dennis Caswell, Tom Caswell, Laurie Caswell, Jennifer Albright), three daughter inlaws ( Carmen Gurley Caswell, Annette Cyford Caswell, Theresa San Lorenzo Caswell)  ,his six grandchildren (Ryan Caswell, Lauren Kingsley, Caroline Smith, Stephanie Catterton, Benjamin Miller, and Brenna Albright) and his five great-grandchildren. ( Ryleigh Caswell, Hannah Caswell,  Alexis Lund, Lorelei Kingsley, and Ember Catterton) The couple  have resided in Pasadena, MD for over 60 years.

Ron started his career in the US Army and was stationed at Ft Meade, MD, where he served honorably and earned the Good Conduct Medal. After his discharge from the military, Ron worked as a “draftsman” and “Highway Design Engineer” for the Maryland State Highway Administration for 30 years.  Ron is best known for his easy smile, gentle demeanor and to always be the first to offer assistance for any task.  No task was too big or too small, whether it be installing a pool, a toilet, moving a couch,or  fixing an old car with WD 40, Ron was game!

He was a soft spoken country gentleman who was highly committed to his family.

Friends may call upon the family at McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A.  3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122  on Wednesday 15 November  from 2 pm- 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.
A Christian funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Chesapeake 8325 Ventnor Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 Phone: (410) 255-3677  Mountain Road Pasadena  MD on Thursday 16 November at 1 pm  Burial will be held at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032 at 2:30 pm.
