Rosalie Parfitt

August 13, 1931 — January 5, 2018

Mrs. Rosalie Parfitt (Ms. Rose) passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family at 8:15 AM on January 5, 2018 at The Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland. She is survived by her loving husband William (Bill) Parfitt, sons William Jr. and fiance Linda "Bridgette" Young, Larry and wife Tina Parfitt, Thomas Parfitt and Marsha, daughters Iris and husband Charles Crowley and Lynn Ward; grandchildren Amy Parfitt, Larry Parfitt, Jr., Eric Parfitt, William Ward III, Elizabeth Ward-DeVries, April Gonnering, Thomas Jr., and Jacob Parfitt. Additionally she is survived by 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Breighner, of Cumberland, Maryland, two sisters and six brothers.

Ms. Rose was a very generous and loving person, with an amazing strength and preseverance. She was very dedicated to her family, always willing to listen to anyone's story and a fierce defender of her children throughout her life. She was also a wonderful wife to husband Bill and the most avid shopper/bargain finder. She loved to go to the local flea market and yard sales. She loved having her family together and watching (competing in ) game shows. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in the name of Rosalie Parfitt to the Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Thursday January 11, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.
