Salvatore Leon Cicero, who lived 92 full years, passed away on March 19, 2017. Sal resided in Pasadena and Bowie, Maryland. He was born January 13, 1925 to Angelina and Giuseppe Cicero in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances Hild Cicero; his daughters Angie Kress (David), Teresa Deters (Dan), JoAnn Morrison (Glenn), and Mary Catherine; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister RoseMarie Cicero Matassa. He enjoyed a successful career in urban development in D.C., Wilmington, and Baltimore. He studied at Mount Saint Joseph High School until entering the United States Navy. He was a horse and racing aficionado and enjoyed rock fishing. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Catholic War Veterans.
The family welcomes you at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Thursday, March 23 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church (Pasadena, MD) at 10 AM on Friday, March 24. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of the Chesapeake or Mt. St. Joseph High School (Baltimore, MD).
