Sara A. Miller, 86 formally from Lindsey, Ohio died on March 25, 2011 from heart failure in Millersville, Maryland
Sara was born in Ada, Ohio to Dr. Roy and Ethel Evans and had one sister Bette Jane (Evans) Firth. She married Francis (Johnny) D. Miller in 1943 and lived on a farm in Lindsey, Ohio until 1980 when she and Johnny moved to Fremont. They both moved to Maryland due to health issues in 1995 to be near their daughter and grandchildren.
Sara was always active in her community in Lindsey and at her church, first at St. Paul's Lutheran and then at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville. She was employed at Miller Motors in Fremont. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles. She also was artistic, enjoying drawing, painting and writing stories and poems. She loved antiquing from antique and junk shops to the family barn and visiting historical homes and towns.
Sara was proceeded in death by her husband Francis (Johnny) Miller in March 2005. She is survived by two children, a son, Mark E. Miller of Dublin, Ohio and a daughter Marcia K. Hamm of Glen Burnie, Maryland, two granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on March 29, 2011 at 10 AM in the Christ Lutheran Church, Millersville, Maryland where she was a member. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the donors choice. Arrangements by the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. (PASADENA)
