Sharon Diane “Pepper” Ashton, 56, of Cleveland, Ohio went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2015 after a long battle with breast cancer. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by family and friends at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Hospital Center. Sharon was born on December 18, 1958 in Welch, West Virginia. The daughter of the late Oscar Tidemore and Phyllis Paschal. She is survived by two siblings; Elaix Vincent and Newschell Paschal and was the beloved mother of Shawntay Ashton and Willis Ashton III.
A home going service is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, June 20th at Antioch, The Apostolic church located at 1535 Ritchie Highway Arnold, MD 21012 with a repass to follow. Pastor James Barr will officiate the ceremony. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Sharon’s’ life. The family is very grateful for all of your condolences and prayers.
