Sharon Lynn Coffman Brannan, 62, of Pasadena, Md., passed away after a 10 year battle against Breast Cancer. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends from Metastatic Breast Cancer the evening of June 12. She was born on Oct. 24, 1949 in Uniontown, Pa.
Sheree was a 1967 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1970. She was the Market Manager at the Maryland Food Center Authority in Jessup, MD before her retirement in 2010. She served as the first woman President of the National Association of Produce Market Managers (NAPMM) from 2004-2005. She also enjoyed making many different "whimsical" crafts and formed her small business, "CUT IT OUT" in 1994.
Preceding her in death were her father, William J. Bell; her stepfather, Albert A. Coffman; her maternal grandparents, John and Sara McAfee; and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Elsie Bell.
Sheree is survived by her husband of 21 years, Bob Brannan of Pasadena; son, Jay D. Murphy (Aimee) and granddaughters, Kathryn and Sarah Murphy, all of Severna Park, MD; mother, Mary Martha Lorenzo (Patrick) of Uniontown, PA; sister, Judy Thornton (Michael) and nephew, Michael Shott (Nikki) all of Mohave Valley, Az.; members of the Brannan and Glancy family and many friends.
Visitations will be held on June 18 from 5-9 pm and June 19 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home,P.A. 3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122. 410-255-2381. Services will be held on June 20 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church in Pasadena.
