Shuey, Sherrel Jean "Sherry" on January 22, 2013, Beloved wife of the late George William "Billy" Shuey, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1991. Loving mother of Matthew and Kyle Shuey. Beloved sister of Michael and Mark Eckert. Loving Aunt of Christine Eckert. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Zelia Eckert. Beloved Daughter-in-law of the late George William Shuey, Sr. and Jane Shuey. Loving Sister-in-law of Linda Grunder, Faith Stimson, and the late Joanne Valentine and Pamela Bustard. Beloved Stepmother of George William Shuey, III, Patrick Shuey, Jamie Shuey, and Michael Shuey. Also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Sherry worked at Lockheed Martin (formerly Martin Marietta) for 32 years. Her interests included swimming, boating, the ocean, her in ground pool, gardening in her backyard, reading, cooking, and her No. 1 love was Maryland steamed crabs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church, 8325 Ventnor Road, Pasadena, on Friday, February 8th, at 11:00 A.M., Interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake 445 Defense Highway Annapolis, Maryland 21401.
