Stephen P. Holmes of Pasadena, MD passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2016.
Stephen was born in Baltimore, MD on May 23, 1967. He was the son of Edward L. Holmes, who preceded him in death and Peggy M. Holmes of Annapolis, MD. In 1985, Stephen graduated from Arundel High School in Gambrills, MD. Thereafter, he attended Anne Arundel Community College.
Stephen tried his hand at the art of drywall finishing in his early twenties. He learned the skill quickly and soon became a master of the art form. A short time later, SPH Custom Drywall was born and he remained the sole proprietor for over 25 years.
In 1991, Stephen married the love of his life, Tammi L. Collier. In October of this year, they celebrated their Silver Anniversary. In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by three children, Melissa, Matthew, Joshua and grandson, Elijah, as well as two brothers, Bradley M. Holmes, of Hanover, MD and Timothy Kevin (Patricia) Holmes of Centreville, VA.
Stephen, or Steve, as he was better known loved sports, especially the Orioles and Ravens. He also enjoyed playing golf and strumming on his guitars.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Thursday from 5 to 9 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 Noon. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
