THERESA VERONICA JARMER (nee Neighoff) of Severn, Maryland Theresa Veronica Jarmer, age 89, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 10, 2022, at her home in Severn, Maryland. Born April 4, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Thelma Levina (nee Scheufele) Neighoff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kurt Heinz Jarmer Sr, her son Thomas Matthew Jarmer, her brothers Irvin Thomas Sr, and Kenneth George Neighoff Sr. Survivor's include her sisters Edna Barbara Jones (nee Neighoff), Ruth Elizabeth Classon (nee Neighoff), brother Larry Leroy Neighoff, four sons, Kurt Heinz Jr, Karl Frederick, William Andrew, Roland Robert Jarmer, and two daughters, Theresa Marie Brinkmeyer (nee Jarmer) and Joyce Ann Patenaude (nee Jarmer). Theresa is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces. Theresa worked at Sunbrite Cleaners in Glen Burnie. Additionally, she was employed at Crofton Convalescent Center until she retired. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, and a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge Women's Auxiliary. She lead a simple life but her spirit and enthusiastic personality touched many, many people. Her infectious laughter would be so contagious that you could not help but laugh along with her. She loved her family, cardinals, roses, the color pink, music, singing songs, Elvis Presley, watching her classic television shows; especially westerns, and collecting things like salt & pepper shakers, and magnets.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, 20 May at 11 a.m. at the family owned and operated Mccully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, Maryland 21122. The Rev Billy Jean Fowler of the Grace Pointe Community Church of The Nazarene is officiating. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, Maryland. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
