Veronica D. Collier (“Ronnie”) who lived in Severna Park, Maryland for the past twenty-three years was called to the table of everlasting grace by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2016. Born on May 9, 1940 to Jerome “Duke” and Margaret Merriken, Ronnie was the younger sister of Catherine Strupp and Margaret Busch. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Collier; her two sons Jerome “Jerry” and Jeffrey “Jeff” and their wives Lori and Paula; five loving grand children: Amanda Collier Nystrom and her husband Andrew Nystrom, Adriana, Rylan, Carson and Devlan; a great granddaughter Aubrey Nystrom, her sister Margaret; four nephews – Mark Strupp, Wayne Strupp, Steven Busch, Michael Collier and their families: as well as the surviving family of Kenneth Strupp and countless loved ones, other family and friends whose life she touched with caring and unselfish love during her walk on earth.
Family, loved ones and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Veronica’s life at Pasadena Assembly of God Church, 206 Pleasantview Avenue, Pasadena, Maryland, on Saturday, February 27th at 11am. During the Celebration of Life friends and family are invited to share reflections they have of Ronnie.
The family extends a heartfelt expression of gratitude to Pastor Phil Foster of the Pasadena Assembly of God Church, the nursing team at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and the Hospice of the Chesapeake for the love, care and support they provided over the past ten days.
