Veronica Garabedian, 74, of Millersville died peacefully in her sleep at home on July 9. Veronica was born and raised in Providence, RI. She moved to California where she met and married Michael Garabedian. After traveling around the country, including a 16 year stop in Arlington, TX, they settled in Millersville where they have been for 27 years.
An active member of St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal Church, Veronica was known for her kind heart and loving spirit. Veronica personified the Christian spirit, tirelessly giving of herself to all, always with a smile that lit up any room. She will be greatly missed by all.
Veronica is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Garabedian; her son Michael Garabedian (Cindy) of Keller, TX, daughter Analecia Byrd (Lee) of Denton, MD; daughter Vanya Garabedian of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Erica Tant (Jimmy) of Glen Burnie, MD; 7 grandchildren – known as Grandma’s Angels - Victoria Garabedian, Elizabeth Garabedian, Catherine Garabedian, Angela Cotton, Edwin Lee Byrd III, Lacy Tant, and Valyn Tant. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Mari D’Agostina of California, Vars D’Abrasco of Rhode Island, and Vrej Polito of Nevada.
Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Saturday, July 12 at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m. at St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal Church 375 Benfield Rd., Severna Park, MD.; immediately followed by a Celebration of Life.
