Virginia S Stephens

Virginia Nell Sparks Stephens (92) of Pasadena, MD passed away March 8th, 2025 in Glen Burnie, MD. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Jack Hamilton Stephens. Virginia was born November 6th, 1932 in DeKalb County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Martin “Freddie” Sparks and Opal Rogers Sparks. She retired from Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in 2005 as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, David and Donna Stephens of Pasadena, MD. She was the beloved Grandmother of Melanie Stephens Reek, her husband Matthew Reek and Great Grandmother of Lucas David Reek of Baltimore, MD. 

Friends and family are invited, Thursday, March 20th, 2025, to the family owned and operated McCully, Polyniak, & Collins Funeral Home PA, 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena MD from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11 am.  She will then be transported to her final resting place at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
