Webster Bailey Sr.

February 26, 1931 — March 20, 2015

WEBSTER EDWARD BAILEY, SR., 84, of Cresaptown, passed away on Friday March 20, 2015 at home.
Born on February 26, 1931, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Webster and Virginia (Tucker) Bailey.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife Joan Bailey; Webster Edward Bailey Jr., Tracy Linden Bailey, and Denise Kraushaar.
Mr. Bailey was a United States Veteran serving his country in the United States Army.  While in the military, he received the Korean Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, and the Purple Heart.  He was employed at a prominent architectural firm as a draftsman.  Mr. Webster was a leader in the Saint John’s Lutheran Church, active in the Boy Scouts of America.
Surviving are his wife Nellie Bailey; daughter Kim Bailey; two sisters Mildred “Millie” Campbell and Belma Shrevey; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six step-children; twenty step-grandchildren; and twenty-two step great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. 15205 McMullen Highway, Cresaptown on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Family and friends will be received at the family owned and operated  McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A.  237 E. Patapsco Ave. (BROOKLYN) on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. At which time a funeral service will take place. Interment Baltimore National Cemetery.
