William Belew, Sr.

William “Floyd” Belew Sr., age 78, of Severn, Maryland passed away on October 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Despite his long battle with cancer, his sense of humor and cheerful attitude never faltered. Born in Reisterstown MD, Floyd loved fishing, golfing, hunting, NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and grandsons both on and off of the baseball field.

Floyd is survived by his devoted wife Eva Margaret Belew, sons Wayne Belew and his wife Julie, William Floyd Belew Jr. and his wife Kathy, daughter Eva Mezan and her husband Scott, four grandsons, Evan, Kyle, and Avery Belew, and Austen Mezan.

A visitation will be held on Saturday November 20, 2021 from 11 AM until 12 PM Where a Memorial Service to honor Floyd will begin at 12 Noon at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. A repast will be held immediately after at the home of Floyd and Kathy Belew.
