Life Legacy

CRONIN, William J. (Bill) passed away at his home in Pasadena on October 12, 2013. Born January 25, 1924 in Baltimore, MD, Mr. Cronin retired as a Pump Operator from the Baltimore City Fire Department after more than 30 years of service. He was known for his wallpapering expertise throughout South Baltimore.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alma Cronin, and brother, John Cronin.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Margaret Mary (Hartlove), and loving father of Mary (Kathy) Alexander and her husband, Don and loving father of William (Bill) and his wife, Joann. Cherished Pop-Pop to Bonnie, Michael, Carrie, Scott, Matthew, Colleen and Meghan; and great grandfather of Ally, Lucy, Dominic, Molly, Maggie and Jack. Also survived by his dear sister, Peggy Schaum.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (Pasadena) on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at St Jane Frances Church, 8499 Virginia Avenue (Pasadena). Interment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Mr. Cronin's Memory.
