William E. Daywalt, Sr, beloved husband of the late Nadine C. Daywalt and Lynda M. Daywalt, devoted father of William E. Daywalt, Jr, and partner Karen Poleski, Francis J. "Frank" Daywalt and wife Mary P Daywalt, dear brother of the late Harry Daywalt, Jr and Eileen Poole, loving grandfather of William E. Daywalt, III, and his wife Mayla Daywalt, Danielle L. Daywalt and her partner Daniel Stierstorfer, Kristin F. Daywalt and fiancé Ryan Hannigan and Douglas C. Daywalt and his wife Jessica M. Daywalt, loving great grandfather of Lillian Hannigan, Natilie Daywalt, Vincent Daywalt, Brislin Moon Applefeld and Freya Mae Daywalt.

Bill was born in Maryland on April 2, 1936, to his parents Harry and Florence Daywalt and passed away in the Hospice of the Chesapeake on January 1, 2024. Bill served in the Navy from 1960 to 1962 before becoming a police officer for Baltimore City, then running his father-in-law bar in South Baltimore, Byrnes Cafe and then working for Coca Cola for next 35 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 5:00 TO 8:00 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake at the link below.
