William Donald Dewar, 79, returned to his heavenly home on July 8, 2023. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his life and ultimately gave him peace. Bill was born to the late Donald Dewar and Margaret Duffy in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 6, 1944. He graduated valedictorian from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in 1962 and later earned his degree in engineering with a math minor from Loyola College while working for AAI Corporation. Bill graduated from the University of Baltimore with his law degree and practiced law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. Bill enjoyed an over thirty-year career in technology and sales, retiring in 2007 from his position as Vice President of North American Operations for Agilent Technologies. Bill lived a full life devoted to his Christian faith, his family, and his vast range of hobbies and interests. He lived his life as a good and faithful servant, daily embodying the love of Christ. Bill also shared his devotion and faith in Christ as a published author of several books on faith and healing and through his Revelations Wisdom Ministry program. He held his FCC license for radio, becoming a Christian radio personality with Revelations Wisdom Ministries aired on I Heart Radio. He was also a world traveler, and with his late wife Barbara, they visited countries in Europe, South America, and Asia as well as every state in the Union. Bill was a car enthusiast, with a particular love for Saabs. As a lifelong football fan, Bill cheered for the Ravens and had a PSL from the very first game they played in Baltimore. Bill was blessed with a loving family. He married his best friend, Barbara Mary Dewar (nee Octavec) on August 18, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland. Bill and Barbara raised their two children with patience, discipline, and humility. He and his family spent many fond summers in Ocean City, Maryland. From the very beginning, he dedicated his children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the Gospels. Bill is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is walking with Jesus. Bill is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Heath; his son, William (Billy) Anthony; his grandchildren Marty Heath, Noah Heath, and Sammy Heath; and his siblings Phyllis Podlaseck and Don Dewar.
