William Thomas “Bunky” Koppelman, Sr , 81, a life-time resident of Chelsea Beach in Pasadena, MD and retired carpenter, died on Tuesday, 14 May 2013, of cancer at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. Bunky was born 3 November 1931 in Baltimore, MD to the late William Joseph Koppelman and Genevieve (Jenny) Marie (Bawroski) Koppelman. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nanette L. Koppelman of 48 years of marriage. He is also survived by one sister, Shirley Leach of Pasadena, MD; six children: Thomas Wayne Koppelman of Ocean Pines, MD; William Mark Koppelman of Ocean Pines, MD; Valerie Lynnette (Lyne) Dicus of Baltimore, MD; Barbara Ann Ramos of Pasadena, MD; Janice Marie Kelso of Glen Burnie, MD; and William Thomas Koppelman, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD; one nephew, George F. Leach, Jr.; 21 grandchildren (Shirley, Amy, Stacy, Matthew, Michael, Willie, David, Ashley, Jen, Heather, Michael, Brandy, Glenda, Tiffany, Samantha, Rachel, Noah, Mariana, Branden, Richard ,and William III); and 29 great-grandchildren (Jacob, Tyler, Henry, Evie, Joseph, Alexander, Marykatherine, Magdalyn, Charles, Emily, Gregory, Finn, Liam, Cody, Tori, Izzy, Krystellee, Kameran, Kollin, Payton, Mason, Liliana, Meylijane, Kataleena, Isaiah, Landen, Mercedes, Karleigh, and Addison).
Bunky enjoyed fishing, going to the flea markets, spending time with his family, and caring for his dog Lucy.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 7 to 9 pm only. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment private.
