Mayes, William Earl, Jr. beloved husband of Brenda J. Mayes (Nee Hurley) devoted father of Kate Elizabeth Fazio of Davidsonville, loving son of Ruth Mayes of Pasadena and the late William Earl Mayes, dear brother of Carl and Brian Mayes, both of Pasadena.
Mr. Mayes was born in Maryland on August 26, 1954 and died at his Chestertown residence on May 5, 2014. Mr. Mayes was formally of the Pasadena area. He was a Supervisor for over 30 years with Anne Arundel County Water Operations before retiring in 2005. He enjoyed horseracing, fishing, golf and softball.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held in the St. Jane Frances Church on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Neuropathy Association at www.neuropathy.org.
