William Sands

WILLIAM SANDS on January 8, 2016. Beloved father of William Sands and his wife Ginger; loving grandfather of Danielle Damon and Stephanie Carter; dear great-grandfather of Avery, Jackson and Ezra; loving brother of Ronald Sands and Brenda Bartholomew. William proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He later worked for the United States Postal Services for 34 years before retiring. He was a true outdoorsman. He loved to go crabbing, fishing and hunting with his brothers and son. He also enjoyed collecting his military memorabilia and sharing stories of his time in the military. For the past 4 years William has been living in Heartlands Assisted Living in Severna Park  He loved his friends he made there and all the activities they provided. There was no other place he would have wanted to be in his last days with his friends and family by his side.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Tuesday January 12, 2016 and Wednesday January 13, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Thursday January 14, 2016 at 12:30PM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
