Woodrow "Woody" W. Harvey, Jr., of Severn, Maryland, passed away on August 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Woody was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 30, 1943, to Woodrow W. Harvey, Sr. and Sarah J. Harvey.

Woody touched the lives of many throughout his years. He was a beacon of light to all who knew him, a man of unwavering strength and compassion. Woody is survived by his lifelong friend Glenn Breitenbach, his special friend Lynn Paddy, nephew Chuck Hilditch and his wife Mary, niece Sheila Hilditch, great-niece London, and great-nephews Anthony, Christopher, and Dillon. Additionally, he leaves behind many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Woody is also survived by his awesome longtime caregiver Dayna Lank, whose dedication, support and care provided him comfort for many years.

Woody loved his family, friends and his Bella Machre family. He was a big Raven's fan. He had a special place in his heart for English Consul Fire Dept. He was always ready to go places and do things. He really liked it if they sold MD lottery tickets. 

A visitation will be held at the McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. in Pasadena, Maryland on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm only. A funeral service will commence at 12:30 pm to celebrate the life of Woody. Interment will be at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, following the service.

In lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated for Woody's memorial fund.
